Started Making Pixar lamp animation

I've started making the Pixar lamp animation at college called "The Final Frontier". It isn't easy to get the movements looking right. The image below is of a desk set for the animation. I made this from scratch and the screen image is a screenshot of the computer I was using to run Maya.
